My group went to this restaurant during the fringe festival. It was empty inside, which is usually a bad sign, but we decided to give it a try. The food was advertised at a special rate, but we were charged a higher price. In a rush, we just paid and left. During our meal, one of the dishes was spilled and water was knocked over, which ended up on me and my bag. The staff did not handle the situation well, leaving the table messy and not replacing the lost food. The service was very poor and unprofessional. We quickly ate our food and left as soon as we could. Overall, we will not be returning to this place.
I have been there twice but saw no other people having food. Don't know why it is so empty in spite of being on the main street. Food was good (only tried Pad thai and Khao pad). Advantage: you can customize your food as you will get full attention.
We ate here as the other restaurant we were going to go to wasn't open. It was a risk as no one was in it, was a bit wary. But the food was really tasty. We liked it so much we went back the following week and all was the same (I love consistency). So far I've had the hot and sour soup, the coconut milk soup (much preferred, it was great), chicken pad thai and sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour chicken is delicious. The service was a tad slow, but nothing crazy. It is clearly run by only 2 people- a nice lady who is the server, and the chef.
We enjoyed having some personal space for our group of friends at this restaurant, as there weren't many other diners. The food was decent.
