The Fountain - Edinburgh, City of

I've been to the fountain a couple of times now. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed, I enjoy the lighting and the mood here for some drinks. The food has always been nice too with a good selection of drinks available. The service can be quite blunt and direct, not rude or horrible, but not nice either, but that wouldn't stop me recommending the place or telling people to go here because its a nice pub ^ ^.

My boyfriend and I went to The Fountain today for a Sunday Roast, drinks, and dessert. We brought our dog with us and requested a cozy corner in the bar area. Our dog can be a bit nervous in new places, but he seemed very relaxed here. The staff gave us a warm welcome and the food and cocktails were excellent. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning.

Super friendly team with a great selection of beers, from in house and local producers. Excellent food that is a little pricey, but worth what you pay. Welcoming to all including dogs (and children)
