Always good to have whisky and pint before morning flight. Pub very busy as usual, Staff very friendly and working very hard
Whisky was very tasty and wet. Great quick service even busy morning Restaurant have very good atmosphere.Come back again for sure. Thanks
Catching a morning flight from Edinburgh airport to Geneva airport and it was time to fuel myself up for the flight ahead, I fancied a huge cooked breakfast so headed to the nearest Wetherspoons, The Sir Walter Scott. This is clearly a very busy Wetherspoons as it was absolutely rammed but I still managed to find myself a table. I went to the bar and asked for two large breakfasts but to be put on one plate much to the shock and slight amusement of the lady serving me, I also asked for a refillable coffee. Food came pretty quickly and the plate they served it up on was absolutely huge, it was typical standard Wetherspoons quality, you know what to expect visiting these pubs and I throughly enjoyed what was served up, it hit the spot.
Worst burger and chips maybe forever. Wish I had walked another 20ft to Burger King then come back for a pint. Burger rubber and warm. Chips passable. Wotherspoons used to be so good….
