It's surprising that a take away shop would close so early, especially during a busy festival month. The management really needs to improve their business practices. Good luck to them and their chef, but I will definitely not be visiting this restaurant again.
The buffet style breakfast offered a good variety and quality of food. Although we did not use the Health and spa facilities during our stay, the bar was bustling and showed sports and news channels. We will definitely consider staying at this hotel again in the future.
Great gym, bedroom and dinner but breakfast was inedible. Lumpy porridge, translucent, weak coffee, and dry overcooked scrambled eggs. A real let down after a good overall experience. I'd heard a lot about The Village but this lack of care over the most important meal of the day was a real disappointment, so much so it inspired me to write my first review on Trip Advisor. Come on The Village your letting yourself down.
Pros: Good value for the money, comfortable beds. Cons: The lobby felt tacky with a Starbucks Cafe offering low-quality coffee. The heated towel rail was not functioning properly and there was no hair conditioner provided. Despite these issues, we would consider staying here again if we need basic accommodations.
Thought I'd get a takeaway from these guys as the prices were super competitive. Was not disappointed. The biryanis were fresh and came with a nice veg curry. Full of flavour! The staff were very friendly as well. This is my new takeaway gem!
