Today morning when I went to the appointments, I went to the past william johnson...Custom wore at the water of leith, where they have this huge space with many outlets from offices and an artist gallery. When I stopped a roast in her ownery, an impressive business behind the scenes in a beautiful and very large roasting machine that I opened as a door. Thirty and in need of a quench I decided to drink a cola naturally sweetened the brand hot. I enjoy a hearty snack and I would say for the first time in all the years, I had ever cheese toasties it was the first time that I could actually sit there and appreciate the full cheating of this product. I could have sworn that there was chili, but it was just the ayrshire white cheddar. it was good and I had not bought the pistachios brownie also delicious I might have been tried to have another. on roasted sourdough bread, which it has beaten out of every hole. they have the opportunity to serve any other choice, but when they see that every person to eat them is the same thing they know why they only sell the toastia, it really works. only as an ex-hole I would feel the necessity to get up my game and serve more choice as an salatable choice, but that said I see the end game here and it works. many other cake choices are available and all looked delicious. the coffee I was served in my americano was certainly arabica smooth and the caffeine taste was perfect. that I have learned is the difference between the package milled coffee sold in bags, which could be many weeks old this was freshly roasted, then floor, a great difference not in many outlets, if at all. william Johnson’s was a welcome coffee experience
We made the way down the quirky custom house lane to this coffee house where we were hit with a decent room, nicely connected to an art gallery. sad, as we also welcomed, was the “apathic” style of customer service, too often. this type of “coolen” coffee house. even if the staff were approached by the customers, the staff looked inappropriately that it had to put down their mobile phones. in this day and age, with a lot of coffee shops open, it takes more than a decent cup coffee to for bad customer service, and lack of atmosphere. the overall experience was disappointing and no amount of caps, beats or latte art make for the mängel this place.
There are two locations: one at Waverley and one at the riverfront. Both are excellent and definitely worth a visit. The riverfront location is especially delightful in the summer with its charming courtyard.
Great experience, friendly staff, lots of good eating, cake and coffee it is a winning combination in a custom lane enclave of rest and rest next to the water of leith! we will come back soon.
On a rainy day in Edinburgh, I stopped by Williams and Johnson to wait out the rain. The coffee, cake, and Reggae music were all perfect. The small and stylish atmosphere, along with the friendly service staff, made for a great experience.
