In fact he does everything. Gid only knows how he has the time to do it all. We ate on a Sunday morning so it was pretty full inside but we didnt mind the wait. I opted for the full Scottish breakfast which was great value. 10 items for under a tenner. My wife opted for porridge with honey and a custom breakfast which allows you to choose 4 breakfast items from the menu, served with toast. The black coffee was served in a mug which was a nice touch. Can't beat a mug of coffee on a Sunday morning. Total bill for 2 breakfasts and 4 coffees came in at under £30. As a footnote, we enjoyed it so much, we went back the next morning.

We had cheese veggie haggis toasties, our friends had the full Scottish breakfasts...all washed down with lots of tea, served in great mis matched crockery a cat shaped tea pot. Would definitely go back probably at an earlier time (he opens at 8am!
This charming café has friendly and accommodating staff, with a fantastic range of food choices. It was an ideal spot to catch up with friends from Rome and the Netherlands. Our group enjoyed a diverse selection from the menu, including soup, Scottish breakfast, scrambled eggs with salmon, smoothies, waffles, carrot cake, and tea – all of which were delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with comfy owl cushions scattered around. While you might easily walk past it, it is definitely worth seeking out and stopping by. The café extends further back than expected, providing plenty of seating space.
