If you're looking for a quiet, charming restaurant away from the hustle and bustle, this small establishment is the perfect choice. Run by a small team, it offers excellent Malaysian cuisine. I can't wait to try their chicken curry and red chicken curry again during my next visit to Edinburgh.
They made the laksa noodles less spicy, and they're delicious. The deeply fried tofu is excellent and definitely worth trying.
We ordered a starter and were offered water and glasses for the wine we had brought along. They do sell beer and a limited selection of wine by the glass. The appetizers were good, and we finished them quickly before the main courses arrived. For our main dish, we each had roasted duck served with noodles and sprouts in a Malaysian sauce. It was very tasty; however, the duck was chopped through the bone, which means you might encounter small pieces of it while eating. Overall, the food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. Just a tip: the restaurant tends to get quite crowded between 7 PM and 8 PM, so it’s better to go either earlier or later if you want a little more space.
