We had an excellent meal with attentive and friendly staff at this restaurant. The curry was amazing, the best we've had in a long time. We would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Edinburgh.
We all enjoyed our meals, my meal was very tasty although it could have been hotter and the tom yum soup (king prawn . Did not have much prawn in it.
Went as a family of four on early (1730) New Years Eve. Restaurant became very busy so may not be a typical experience. We all had Thai food so I can't comment on the Indian. I did not enjoy my meal at all. My mixed starter was various lumps of deep fried pastries with very little taste, and the Pad Thai was more like Chinese rice noodles, being dark brown and greasy. I also had to ask for it to be re heated as it arrived cold. However, my family who had different dishes (sweet and sour and green curry) said their food was very good (and arrived hot). Service was adequate, not overly friendly (but might have been the date we went). Our red wine was chilled but tasty and reasonably priced. Much nicer in atmosphere than it appears from the road, and a lolly for the kids on the way out which was a nice touch!
The food was so delicious and the staff was super nice. The price was right. Since it was up and everyone worked was masked it was quiet and safe feeling in the restaurant. Indian food was delicious and we were really full after our meal. Very recommended!
