Spitaki Greek Taverna - Edinburgh

This restaurant is fantastic and very friendly. The food is delicious and freshly made, offering great value for money. The house wine is excellent. I highly recommend this place—the dining experience is truly wonderful. The gigantes are the best; they taste just like they do in Greece!

The atmosphere inside the restaurant was wonderful, and the staff were very accommodating, especially since we arrived quite late. The house wine was good and a fantastic value at £16 for a liter. The food was served fresh and hot, and every dish was delicious and authentically Greek. I highly recommend this place!

This charming little Greek restaurant spans two levels. The menu is modest, focusing on meze, which is akin to tapas. A smaller menu often indicates high-quality, well-prepared dishes, and that was true in this case. The staff were friendly, although the service was a bit slow at times. The layout creates a cozy atmosphere that enhances the dining experience.

I can't expect to go back to this place! what a failure! I had a very small hope to find something good on a Sunday afternoon! nice, friendly staff, excellent eating, really cheap prices! great for vegetarian! we have probably ordered 8-9 vegetarian dishes (for 4ppl) they were all delicious! the grilled Greek cheese (not feta,) roasted aubergine, spinat and calamari were my favorite!

Might just be my new favourite place in Edinburgh! Lovely little restaurant with delicious, fresh food. The service was great and staff really nice and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be coming back there!
