Friendly pub with decent beer and good quality eating. good Pit stop for hikers and cyclists who can park outside in the courtyard. the bar is a bit dark. there is a functional space to the side, which is much brighter. toilets clean, but need to refurbish.

Good food and good pints. Staff are nice and toilets are clean. Good little beer garden usually out the wind as well because it's in a little courtyard. Nice place to walk to for a pint/food on a nice day. Plenty short walks around it as well for nice views.

We dined here for lunch last week after not having visited for a few years, and I was pleased to find that not much has changed. The food was excellent, with a great selection on the menu and generous portions. However, I did wish for a larger dessert. Overall, I would highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back soon!

I ordered a small mac and cheese along with a garden salad, and I was surprised to receive a large bowl of salad packed with fresh ingredients and a hearty serving of mac and cheese. The local ambiance is also fantastic—there's something special about feeling comfortable while you dine!

We had an unexpected visit to this charming country pub after shopping at IKEA. The food and drink were excellent, and the young employees provided great service. We ordered a starter, main course, drinks, and a couple of desserts, all for £100, which felt very reasonable. The seating is available both inside and in the lovely courtyard outside. Overall, a delightful experience!
