I also want to highlight the excellent customer service; the staff is exceptionally friendly. The Biryani, Kothu Parotta, and Fish Fry were all superb. Additionally, the prices are quite reasonable compared to other Indian restaurants across the country. I would highly recommend this place!
The food at this restaurant was disappointing. I ordered the dosa and vada, but sadly, I can't say I enjoyed either one. I prefer not to leave negative reviews, but this experience doesn't deserve a favorable one.
The restaurant provides an authentic Banana Leaf Bhojanam experience. The service is exceptional, earning a solid 5/5 rating. Prices are reasonably set. There’s a choice of both indoor and outdoor seating. However, I found the food to be only average, rating it 2.5/5. We sampled the Non-Vegetarian Thali served on a banana leaf. The chicken and mutton biryanis, made with chitti muthyala rice, were quite flavorful. There was also a variety of starters available, although I would have preferred the food to be served hot. The thali includes a selection of dosas as well. Overall, it's a place that's worth visiting at least once.
The food here is quite good, but the seating area feels cramped, worn, and not very well-maintained. It's obvious that the restaurant is mainly known for its decent cuisine, and it could draw in more customers if management focused on making some upgrades to the interior. During my second visit, I opted for the banana leaf experience. The food was similar to what you'd find at a buffet, just served at the table on a leaf. Overall, it was another enjoyable experience.
This was my first experience at Thali, and I found it interesting. Like many buffets, some of the meat dishes were a bit on the dry side. I also overlooked the QR code for ordering fresh items, which was my mistake. I recommend not settling for anything less than the best; feel free to ask for replacements with freshly prepared dishes. The Paratha and dosa—both firsts for me—were definitely the highlights. I particularly enjoyed dipping the Paratha into the curry sauces. I can see how this would feel like home cooking for someone from India. The service was good, and I have no complaints on that front.
