Qdoba Mexican Eats - Edison

I ordered two veggie bowls, but both were extremely disappointing. They didn't contain a single vegetable! Despite ordering with the same toppings, they looked completely different. For $17, all we received was rice on a bed of Pinto beans, with no veggies in sight. I can't recommend this place, especially for vegetarians.

This is a fantastic restaurant! In the post-COVID era, it’s uncommon to discover excellent food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Thank you!

I found it really frustrating to wait 20 minutes in line during a busy time, only to be informed that the dish I wanted was unavailable. It would have been helpful if someone could give regular updates, like every 5 minutes, to let us know what items were out of stock. Instead, I ended up wasting my time, and now I have to look for another place to eat. Thank you for that.

I've been visiting this restaurant for a year and had great things to say about it, but my opinion has changed. I now think the food is terrible. This is the second time I've ordered the same dish, and I'm not sure if it's the staff's lack of care or just poor cooking skills. I've never received a plate with more cilantro than rice before. When I asked if they had fresh rice, they said no. I specifically mentioned that I didn't want the rice that looked like leftovers, along with all that cilantro. The chunks of cilantro and guacamole were disappointing. I won't be returning anytime soon.

The service at this restaurant is excessively slow. I usually visit the Qdoba on Livingston, which is half the size of this location, yet they manage to process each order in under a minute, even during busy times and with fewer staff. Here, I waited in line for over 20 minutes, despite there only being 3-4 people in front of me. The person behind me was so frustrated that he ended up leaving because of the wait. I'm not sure what the staff was up to since there were plenty of employees at the front who seemed more interested in chatting with each other than in serving customers. The line was barely moving, and it shouldn't take 5-8 minutes just to scoop out some ingredients and put them in a bowl or tortilla. I likely won't be coming back to this specific location.
