The first time I ordered rice pupusas by phone, when I arrived to pick up the order, the lady told me that she didn't have rice flour to make the pupusas and that she could make them with corn. I had to wait about 20 minutes. The second time I ordered rice pupusas again by phone to eat there and the lady told me that in 20 minutes they would be ready, because when I arrived she told me the same thing that she didn't have rice that she couldn't make them, so I don't understand how they can take you the order for something they don't have. I let 2 years pass and I ordered rice pupusas again this time when I arrived they did make them my order was ready now the problem is that they didn't look like pupusas they were all deformed small and fat in the center and the edges looked like flour as if they didn't mix the mixture well rice dough, I paid $34 for 10 pupusas but for the size they had they are too expensive, I have never paid more than $3 for such a horrible pupusa, these people don't know anything about pupusas, maybe in other food they are good but not in pupusas.
Very expensive restaurant, 16 dollars for a roast beef and they don't give you anything. I don't recommend it. It's expensive to buy there.
Bad service, the food is not bad but the. Drinks are not good
Inconspicuous location with potholed parking, but warm reception and good food with a home cooked feel inside. Don't judge a culinary book by its cover. Stop by and try it. The yuca frita con chicharron was particularly tasty. Small menu, but competently prepared. A true diamond in the rough.
We got there less than five minutes before they closed They were so nice and made us these wonderful tacos. Every time I’m on that side of town I make it a point to go and have lunch there.
