This review is based off of the ramen My boyfriend and his parents came here for sushi and ramen.
We don’t often visit Edmonton, but when we do, we try to hit Nomiya. Their ramen is awesome. They have some nice sushi rolls, and their sashimi portions are nice, too. It’s been a few months since our last visit, so I can’t recall the prices, but generally sushi prices in Edmonton are pretty high. That said, this place is worth it. Small restaurant, ample parking. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
Like the title says. Food was good, new building, nice staff, prices WAY too high. location is on the south side of town, quite a ways away from where we were. The interior is small and awkward. The staff was nice and the food was decent but it was definitely not the best mango sushi I have ever had, The boyfriend got sashimi and liked it but it was a bit bland. The portions were quite large and impressive. I won't be back. Didn't stand out to me at all but just didn't have that "bring you back" vibe.
