Some friends took us here for a good meal and that is exactly what we got. If you're looking for some fancy 4 star restaurant, keep driving. What you are going to find here is friendly service and some stick to your bones food. The daily special was a chicken fried steak, two sides and a drink for $8.99. If you're in the area and hungry stop in, fill that growling tummy.
Great little cafe. Stopped here on a motorcycle ride and had a late lunch. The burger and onion rings were really good. Wife had the chicken fried steak and she loved it. And she is very picky about here chicken fried steak. The restroom is really clean too. The place looks like a log cabin. I'll definitely stop here again
Cute atmosphere. This is now Edom Cafe, must have changed owners. I ordered shrimp basket. It was right out of the freezer. It seemed a lot of the food is frozen or canned. My wife's burger was ok, but sides were all from the freezer. We were hopeful for more of a fresh cafe food. This has the potential to be a destination spot please work on freshening the food!
This is now known as Edom Cafe. My husband and I are moving to the area very soon, so we decided to try some of the eateries in the area to see what we liked. My In-Laws have taken us to lunch at The Shed a couple of times, but we'd never ate at Edom Cafe. So, one day for dinner, we decided to eat there. The food is AMAZING! Cooked hot and fresh and served quickly. The service is excellent, as well. I'm a bit of a clown, and joked around with the waitress, and the cook/owner and both joked back, which always makes me happy. They're just warm and friendly like that. It feels like having a meal at someone's home, and not just a cafe. My husband and I have also had breakfast there a few times, and their French toast, ham and cheese omelet, and their biscuits and gravy are all AMAZING! The coffee is likely a little strong for most people's tastes, but the hubs and I LOVE it. If you eat on the patio, you might meet the neighborhood pooch. She's a stunning pitty girl and she won't beg for your food, but she loves being petted. Made my whole morning. I recommend this place to any and everyone I can. You can't be the prices, the service, and the chill, laid-back atmosphere. This will DEFINITELY be mine and my husband's main spot for meals out.
