My In-Laws have taken us to lunch at The Shed a couple of times, but we'd never ate at Edom Cafe. So, one day for dinner, we decided to eat there. The food is AMAZING! Cooked hot and fresh and served quickly. The service is excellent, as well. I'm a bit of a clown, and joked around with the waitress, and the cook/owner and both joked back, which always makes me happy. They're just warm and friendly like that. It feels like having a meal at someone's home, and not just a cafe. My husband and I have also had breakfast there a few times, and their French toast, ham and cheese omelet, and their biscuits and gravy are all AMAZING! The coffee is likely a little strong for most people's tastes, but the hubs and I LOVE it. If you eat on the patio, you might meet the neighborhood pooch. She's a stunning pitty girl and she won't beg for your food, but she loves being petted. Made my whole morning. I recommend this place to any and everyone I can. You can't be the prices, the service, and the chill, laid-back atmosphere. This will DEFINITELY be mine and my husband's main spot for meals out.
This is a wonderful little café! I visited during a motorcycle ride and enjoyed a late lunch. The burger and onion rings were absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak, and she really loved it—quite impressive considering she's very particular about her chicken fried steak. Plus, the restroom was sparkling clean. The café also has a charming log cabin look. I will definitely stop by again!
Are you a fan of delicious food at reasonable prices? You don't need to answer that—everyone wants that when choosing a restaurant. A few friends brought us here for a great meal, and that's exactly what we experienced. If you're searching for a fancy, upscale dining spot, this isn't the place for you. Instead, you'll find friendly service and hearty, comforting dishes. The daily special featured chicken fried steak, two sides, and a drink for just $8.99. If you're in the area and feeling hungry, definitely stop by and satisfy that rumbling stomach!
The food was excellent today. The fish was served hot and fresh.
Charming atmosphere! This place is now called Edom Cafe, and it seems they've changed ownership. I ordered the shrimp basket, which tasted like it came straight from the freezer. It appeared that much of the food was either frozen or canned. My wife's burger was decent, but the sides were all from the freezer too. We were really hoping for fresher café offerings. This place has the potential to be a great destination, so I encourage them to focus on serving fresher food!
