Bonnechere River Cafe - EGANVILLE

I don't even know where to begin with this restaurant. The signs all said CLOSED, but were they actually open? I tried to ask the disheveled waitress, but she just ignored me. She carelessly dropped a napkin and spoon on the dirty table, barely wiping it with her hand before cleaning it on her pants. I asked for a clean table, but every table around me was just as dirty. The coffee I ordered tasted more like dirty sock water in a filthy cup. The breakfast menu had no healthy options, just greasy food. I paid for my terrible coffee and left. The comment on the menu about people eating the cooks' food and living was very questionable, to say the least. I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

The place itself is very simple, but the breakfast was great! Really enjoyed the house made Marmelade! On the main road.

We had breakfast here a few times when we were in town. The staff is limited and stretched. Eating is a little fat. Not as good as it is.

Amazing breakfast and amazing service do not go there if you are in a hurry, but are definitely worth visiting.

Food is good. Coffee is really bad. Tables are small and wobbly. Servers are not well presented even for casual service. appropriate for a backyard bbq. Bathroom is very clean and roomy.
