Contribuisci feedbackI booked brunch for 20 people a couple months in advance. I received a call the week before that they were no longer serving brunch. I was not happy since it was an after holiday party and I wanted it to be something special. They spoke to the chef who kindly said he’d still set up the brunch buffet for us. We were so impressed for $21.95pp to get an omelette and pancake station, eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage, 2 hot dishes, carved roast beef, salad bar, desserts etc and bottomless mimosas. The service was alittle slow with drink refills but the brunch was amazing and we didn’t feel rushed.
There was only one server for the three or four tables and he was not very attentive. He did not offer any specials until we asked, did not pay attention to our orders, and never came by to check on us or offer refills. The food was okay, with the salmon tacos and truffle champignon being highlights. However, my wife's prime rib was overcooked and dry, while both my friend and I ordered the rib eye and received our steaks cooked incorrectly. It was clear they had mixed up our orders as my friend did not want onions on his steak and I did, but they cooked them wrong anyway. Despite these issues, my friend's wife did enjoy her shrimp crab risotto. Overall, our experience was much worse than before and we will not be returning. It was not worth the 40-minute drive.
We had dinner reservations for New Year's Eve at 7:30. We arrived at 7:05 and were seated promptly. However, that was the only positive aspect of our evening. We were ignored for 15 minutes before receiving rolls and water from a server who mentioned our waitress would be with us shortly. After another 15 minutes, our waitress finally took our order. By 8 p.m., we still hadn't received our drinks and had to ask another server to get our waitress's attention. She apologized for the delay and mentioned she would inform the manager. After waiting an additional 5 minutes and observing drinks being served to other tables, we decided to leave without having received our food. Although we can't comment on the quality of the dishes, the rolls were enjoyable. If you're a fan of rolls, this might be the place for you. Additionally, the menu didn't feature any prices, which was a bit peculiar.
The food at this restaurant was fantastic, although the portions were on the smaller side and the prices were a bit high, but it was New Year's eve after all. We were a bit disappointed that there were no appetizer options and the portions were small. Unfortunately, our waiter was not able to attend to us as frequently as we would have liked because he had to serve very large tables in the back room where we were seated. We had to wait quite a while for our drinks until a second bartender from the party room came to assist.
We used to go to Joseph's all the time and the food was great. Not sure what happened, but we had a terrible meal. First of all my steaks came out raw. I asked for medium rare and was insulted by the waiter for claiming I didn't know what medium rare was. I cut the steak in half and showed her that it wasn't even cooked. They took it back and obviously just seared the outside , brought it back to me still raw In the middle. My girls filet was rare, asked for medium rare but would eat it because it is filet and she is not that confrontational. I sent mine back and asked for a brand new strip at medium well this time. By the time they brought my meal back, my girls food was as cold as ice and they said they would take it off the bill but took the plate away??? What does that do for us. I refused to pay for either steak and the restaurant was empty. I couldn't imagine what my meal would be like if it was busy. I was extremely dissatisfied and they ruined our anniversary dinner. Things happen, but when I go to a restaurant and pay for a meal, I expect a basic steak to be an easy order.. and if you know your kitchen under cooks things, the waiter should let me know that and maybe I would change the temperature I'm ordering at... we won't be going back. What a disaster!! I'm very frustrated that my dinner was ruined like that. I will be sending a message to the owner
