Very good pub fare, try the steak hoagie. All burgers are good ,and you have to have the mac salad. Friendly neighborhood vibe. As someone who's new to the Buffalo area (specifically Amherst), I found myself without power due to a windstorm. With no nearby options available, I decided to explore a bit further. To my delight, I discovered this bar, which is clearly a local favorite, and I instantly felt welcomed and at home. It operates on a cash-only basis, but there is an ATM available. The staff were incredible—friendly and inviting! I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the menu. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

This tavern may be a small, unassuming spot, but it has a loyal local crowd that often gathers at this watering hole. The bartenders and servers were friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I decided to visit because I had heard great things about their underrated wings, and I can confirm that they lived up to the hype. While $15 for an order of 10 wings seems a bit steep, it unfortunately reflects the current pricing trends. The wings had a satisfyingly crispy texture—almost on par with Bar-Bill Tavern. The sauce was well-balanced; it coated the wings nicely without being overly drenched. Plus, the wings were a decent size, definitely not tiny. Overall, I’d give it a 7.1 on the Dave Portnoy scale.
