You can find them hidden in the Kreiens district of Billerbeck. Every Wednesday evening the ham shrine is open to everyone. For the first time we met with a large group there for green coal. Since green cabbage and pinkel are not everyone's taste, there was of course also the possibility to choose an alternative. This is why first the voting for a mushroom carving: A sufficient portion of pommes next to a very large carving that was well covered with mushrooms. A well-filled plate, but pommes in a bowl would have been even better. The rich green cabbage was not very hot despite the hot plate, and a bit too tired. The Kassler was very tasty, the two bregenwurst variants were in order, although the fresh bregenwurst was very fine. All right. But there were some difficulties when the dessert was ordered. Actually, it's a pity, because keeping ice in some larger quantities is relatively easy. After 3 servings for our table neighbour, the cherry ice cream in several variations (vanilla, chocolate, etc.) then only became vanilla ice cream with cream or with hot cherries. In the less preferred variant 2 balls vanilla ice cream with cream, 3 balls without cream were then delivered. This fauxpas must of course be included in the evaluation, although the price for the ice was extremely favorable. Conclusion: The food in the ham shrine is in order. Especially the carving variations are recommended. The service is fine, but it is still necessary to work on details (after meals). Overall: Recommendation with restriction!
