A very welcoming and charming restaurant once you enter the doors... From a completely separate smoker's lounge and bar (which as a non-smoker you thankfully do not notice :-) , an outdoor sitting area with a fireplace, as well as a choice of dining room from the traditional to the more formal, this is a great place for a meal. The food is beautifully prepared and the service is exceptionally friendly as it appears to be the owner herself that is taking care of you! Looking forward to my next visit.
This was our first visit to this restaurant - we were pleasantly surprised & had a great evening. The ambiance was down-to-earth & elegantly rustic. The service was very professional & friendly. The meals were very good & we really appreciated the various Swiss specialities listed on the card. The local Swiss-German menu kept us entertained for a good while - but thank goodness for the translations ;-))We will go back with friends & family for sure.
I enjoyed a very nice lunch with some colleagues whilst visiting the nearby University. The restaurant is positioned right by the water front with spectacular views and a very nice outside seating area when the weather is nice. Inside the restaurant is very well decorated, the staff very attentive, and the food delicious. This is a great place to visit with loved ones for just a great lunch, or for something a little more romantic. I dont really know, but this must be one of the best places to eat in town as it was packed with locals and it really is of a high standard. I must return with my wife, as she would love it too.
