Lutherschenke - Eisleben, Lutherstadt

Die Lutherschenke neben dem Geburtshaus von Luther wurde für das Mittagessen ausgewählt. Fast die gesamte Gruppe hatte bereits aus der Reisegruppenkarte ausgewählt, sodass jeder bereits zu Hause in Ruhe wählen konnte. Da ich am Vorabend bereits ein böhmisches Hauptgericht hatte und am Abend zur Jagdhütte von Wettin gehen sollte, entschied ich mich für den Salat. Der Salatteller "Martin Luther" kostete 10,50 € und bestand aus frischem Eisbergsalat mit Tomaten, Gurken, Frühlingszwiebeln, roten Zwiebeln, Käse, Schweineschnitzel- oder Hähnchenschnitzelstreifen mit Senfsoße und Toast. Als Getränk bestellte ich eine Kanne Kaffee. Der Kaffee war gut und die Bedienung war freundlich und nahm unsere Bestellungen auf. Als mein bestellter Salat an meinem Platz ankam, fand ich ein in vier Streifen geschnittenes Schnitzel, mit Käse bestreut, über dem Salat. Die Fleischstücke waren jedoch sehr groß und mussten geschnitten werden, während man sie in die dünnflüssige Senfsoße tauchte, wodurch sich die Panade vom Fleisch löste. Die beiden Toasthälften waren in Ordnung, immerhin nicht verbrannt. Mein gegenüber beschwerte sich über salzigen Reis und die Forelle war nahe an der Salzgrenze. Ich persönlich empfinde das Ganze als Touristenfalle und kann es nicht empfehlen. Als die Bedienung den fast vollen Teller abräumte und fragte, ob es geschmeckt hätte, teilte ich meine Meinung über den labbrigen Salat mit, was jedoch keinerlei Reaktion in irgendeine Richtung hervorrief. Anscheinend ist es hier die Devise, einfach abzuwarten, da der Gast ja eh nicht wiederkommt. Und da hat sie vollkommen Recht!

Sat on Saturday for lunch and easily found a table. we ordered both traditional Bohemian meals, i.e. marinated roast beef served in a lot of cream sauce and with lots of broth bones. could not make it absolutely tasty and I would be definitiw. some interesting Czech drinks on the menu, e.g. Czech low alcohol camp.

Some others and I decided to eat here, as it claims authentic Bohemia specialties and we were not disappointed. we had all great meal times and the beer were amazing (as seems to be the habit in Germany. all in all, good experience and. also:

We were late in ice life on a Wednesday night, and this restaurant was a short walk from our hotel so we decided to give it a shot. When we came in, there was literally no one who could eat there. a small music 80s American music. in the background. and a kerl behind the bar. we almost turned around, but the reviews were decent, so we our places on a table for some unlikely private restaurants. we were glad we stayed. the bartender was also our server (and probably the owner,! and he didn't know much English, but he was super nice and we all made it together. he served us an excellent Czech beer that they had on the hook, and then we got all the food we loved. I can't remember everything we had, but I remember being satisfied with each of us (4. it ended a very funny and unforgettable meal in ice life. If we were ever back in this city, we would come back. do not let the quiet city and possibly empty restaurant keep them from eating here!

One of the best places to go for authentic Bohemian! I love the flavors and the staff is really friendly and helpful. I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy (not submerged in loads and loads of oil like other places). You won't be disappointed, your stomach will be happy and your wallet won't be completely empty... take it from me, great service. Wide selection of good quality, delicious food. Very veggie friendly. Excellent value a lot less pricey than far inferior establishments.
