Asador Extrema - El Barraco

Extrema most certainly deserves a visit; don’t expect a fancy restaurant. Expect a typical Spanish bar serving non-typically good food for more than reasonable prices. This place seems simple and everyday but is terribly good. The pincho served with our first wine was a delicious pisto (vegetable stew). The wine list is short but very good. Both the local wines are excellent . We had a small dinner with the great “Zorongollo Extremeño” salad that contains grilled lettuce (cogollos de Tudela) and a pizza with local cheeses and foie. Superb!! We ate far more than we wanted to.
