Ahi Sushi Grill - El Cajon

We usually only order from our regular restaurant, but we decided to drive over to try this place, and it was fantastic! The service was quick, and the food was delicious, especially considering the prices. We'll definitely be back, and we might become regulars!

I highly recommend trying the Japanese cuisine here. The teriyaki dishes are fantastic, with perfectly cooked protein and exceptionally fresh vegetables. You really can't go wrong with the sushi either!

Sushi is typically good here, but I recommend avoiding dine-in close to closing time. The servers tend to just stand at the bar and watch diners eat, which can make you feel uncomfortable. It can be difficult to enjoy your meal because they consistently try to get closer to your table, regardless of your feelings about it. Their main goal seems to be to usher you out as quickly as possible.

Really good sushi and super affordable prices! Love the 50% off menu items I ordered the California roll and crunchy roll. I ate here twice last week. I came here a few days ago with my family members and ordered some appetizers, and they were also very good. I think this will be my place when it comes to sushi!

There are very few good sushi houses in East County with Japanese staff doing the traditional ways. Ahi does traditional with a twist. Beautiful presentations, fresh ingredients and tasty renditions. I 'll be back!
