Flour Power Cakery - El Cajon

I called today an order for Saturday today Thursday, and they refused to take my cake order because I wanted to take flowers on him basecake and they refused to take my order because, as the lady said, they need five days in advance order. Your cakes are decent, but not the best. The owner of this cake business should consider hiring more employees. A 10 inch cake will run you $100, which is a bit expensive, but this price I still buy her cakes. This bakery also has you pay for your cake when you order it via phone with a credit card. I'll find another bakery that wants my business. And the people wonder why family businesses closed businesses are turning customers who are willing to pay for their work, and when this happens, we find another place that will take our cake jobs. Give everyone a head. If you want to order a cake 5 to 7 days in advance or you will be left without cake for your party or celebration. Find a back-up plan and bakery.

Flour Power is my visit for special occasions. You have a great customer service and delicious cakes. I ordered a marble cake with chocolate mousse filling and buttercream freezing for my granddaughter's birthday. The cake was enchanting and the guests shaved over the cake. One of the guests was gluten-free, so I got her a cupcake from FP. She loved it.

We got a 2-step wedding cake from Flour Power Cakery because they were worked together with our Catererer (Personal Touch Dining), and we added this with leaf cake from Costco to feed all guests. We really have the cake tasting box that it offered and ended the selection of strawberry parrot flavor that was fabulous! I also had a quite specific decoration idea and sent some silk flowers to them along with an inspiration photo about email. The final result was fantastic! I was blown away, it looked so perfect and tasted amazing. I love cakes so there is a lot of pressure on this cake, but it comes! I'd get it back for sure!

Flour Power Cake earn so much more than 5 stars! You are a super responsible team that draws attention to every detail that you ask them on your wedding cake. I came to Lauren and she was so friendly in the process of helping me to make the flavors, frosting and cake style. Thank you for my lovely cake. Not only was it beautiful, but also super delicious.

Flour Power has been our go to for years. After repeated interactions where we felt like we were annoying the staff simply by trying to make a purchase, we are going to find another locally owned bakery to patronize. Yesterday a young lady wearing a maroon puffer coat was working and visibly rolled her eyes when I asked what flavor two cupcakes were (they didn't have identification signs). Her tone was sharp and annoyed that I wanted to buy cupcakes and cookies didn't I know they go in different boxes? Umm...sorry that I wanted to buy both??Beautifully decorated cakes and bakery items that taste good if you can avoid interacting with the staff who are bothered by customers existence.
