Ishtar Resturant - El Cajon

All imitation food i don't know why they didn't call it Iraqi or caldeian food you go there order some food and the surprise hit you completely different recipes different spices not what we used to eat and my advice to all of my friends if they want to eat there or if they got invited to eat there read the ingredients and ask them about it they don't right every thing in the menu ask before you get surprised and get mad because you didn't

I stayed in the Courtyard by Marriott in El Cajon in June, 2022, due to a family emergency. I needed a room with excellent Wi-Fi internet connection to be able to work at night. I found the room was excellent as well as the enhanced Wi-Fi. The staff accommodated my need to extend my stay and were very courteous and helpful.

Spent two nights here while visiting friends. Facility is like new, very clean and comfortable. Lobby/lounge was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Didn’t spend a lot of time in the immediate area but it was very quiet and convenient.

Stayed here prior to heading into Mexico. Nice and clean. Had a great bar!! The best martini I've ever had. We would definitely stay here again. Great parking area for trailers, etc. Right next to a police station!

As a platinum member, I think I am quite familiar with Marriott hotels, but this one is definitely lower than the lowest of the low. The confirmation email clearly stated that Changes to your reservation are not permitted. Please note that you may cancel your reservation for no charge before 11:59 PM local hotel time on Monday, December 19, 2022. Please note we will assess a fee if you must cancel after this deadline , but when I have to cancel my reservation on December 18, the hotel refused to refund me! I know El Cajon is close to Mexico, but this is not Mexico and your hotel need to take your words (In fact, I have much better experience in Mexico Marriott). What 's wrong with the hotel team? Integrity or your grammar issue? I have to talk to my credit card bank about this, which is the very first time dispute for a hotel...Shame on you guys!
