This restaurant in El Cajon is a hidden gem. They offer a simple menu with well-prepared items that are a cut above typical taco shops in San Diego. For example, their carne asada burrito features authentically seasoned beef that is tender and free of gristle and extra fat. For an extra treat, try getting it fried for a crispy chimichanga-style shell. The restaurant is always clean, with a parking lot next to the building and friendly fast service. It's a great value for the quality of food. I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm in the area and have never been disappointed. The parking lot has 8-10 spots available, though there is no drive-through option.
They have the best carne asada fries around. Good fry to meat ratio and juicy steak.
Decent taco shop. No frills. Fresh ingredients. No table service.Food: 4/5
