Taste Of The Himalayas - El Cajon

Such delicious food!!! Literally the best food we 'd eaten in a long time. I have a very open palate. This place isn 't close to being as glamorous as say the Chart House in Cardiff but the food blew me away. Nice, cozy ambiance, and very friendly staff. Careful with the spiceyness though cause even a '2 ' will get you if you 're not used to it (Asian spices can be very different from what we 're used to in So Cal).

Updated after a dozen more visits. My favorite Indian in San Diego, Lamb Tika Masala is my go to. Everything was awesome, service was great. Chicken tika is delicious, momos were amazing, they should be on the appetizer menu tho.

Good food, good service, good portions, reasonable prices, and delivery with uber eats. On the spicy side. 2 or 3 is perfect. Will be back for sure.

It was magical! Really delicious, we had a great time. They did not disappoint in the spicy department. I ordered goat curry and chicken tikka masala at a spicy 2. It was comfortable to all 3 of us but we do like it spicy. We did ask for some additional spicy stuff, the house sauce was great and the 911 sauce was killer hot! It was pretty fun to see just how much of it we could handle. I'm a very adventurous eater and this made my day. The appetizer(can't remember the name) fried veggie patties with a green dipping sauce really really good and the naan bread was very tasty. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back and try some other dishes!

Went here last night with friends. We are all new to the cuisine but staff was patient and babystepped us through. We each got something different and kept the heat profile low at 3 and then shared...wonderful meal....no room for a dessert. Can't wait to go back.
