El Bar - El Calafate

Nos encantaron las empanadas, nos comentaron que son 100% caseras y asi fue porque exquisitas! Recomiendo el lugar.

Elba y Norberto, son dos porteños que decidieron hacer de El Calafate, su lugar en el mundo. Primero en Casablanca y ahora en Elba'r, demuestran su amor por esa hermosa tierra, en la que se instalaron junto a sus hijos y nietos.La comida es excelente, el lugar muy bien ambientado y muy buena la atención.Altamente recomendable para comer, si se llega de visita a la hermosa ciudad de El Calafate, y ver toda la belleza del Glaciar Perito Moreno.

We came to El Bar twice. First of all the hours are great. If you're hungry at 4 you don't have to wait for other places to open (we had a hard time finding places that were open). Secondly it's healthy. You can get healthy salads, soups and waffles. It also doesn't take very long. Perfect option after a long hike. And it's affordable.

We had one of our better meals at El Bar during our nights in Calafate. In a town that seems to specialize in either lots of meat or marginal Italian food, the waffles and tortes were a wonderful change of pace. They appear to take pride in the quality of the food, while making it interesting at the same time. Reasonable prices, too. Colorful paint, fun and funky vibe, some outdoor seating, friendly folks. Looks like a favorite of the locals as well, which is always a good indicator. This isn't fine dining, but definitely worth a visit.

Sitio muy recomendable y pintoresco. Buen café (no es habitual en Argentina), buena música y sitio muy bonito.
