Bamboo Bistro - El Centro

I used to visit this restaurant on weekends with my family, but they have significantly raised their prices. Now, they expect us to cram the noodles into a small bowl along with the meats and vegetables, which is just ridiculous. The portions are much smaller, the prices are higher, and the flavor isn't what it used to be. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. Sorry, but you’ve lost a family of six that used to come every week.

I highly recommend the bowl option, where you can choose and serve your own ingredients. For vegetarians, there are plenty of vegetable options that you can add to your plate!

The food here is fantastic! I definitely recommend ordering for pickup or delivery. I’m not sure if they were having a soft opening at their new location, but there were only two employees working, which made the service quite slow. The person managing the dining area was incredibly patient, but that didn’t help with the service. We had to approach the counter twice to get what we needed. When my food arrived, my drink was already empty, and I waited a long time for a refill—only to notice the server chatting behind the counter without a care in the world. As I mentioned, the (Thai) food is excellent, but the service left much to be desired, at least on this Thursday around 1 PM. Even before the lunch rush, the service was at a snail’s pace.

Pretty good. High veggie to meat ratio but I guess that's normal for Chinese food.
