La Tapera - El Chaltén

'If you want to eat really well and be well served this is the place and expect what is needed.' This was told by a person who was waiting for dinner the first day. In the Chantel we experience an exceptional culinary experience during our four days of visit. Night after night, we enjoy exquisite dishes that stood out for their spectacular quality and taste. From the backdrop of Malbec wine to the bondiola of pork, locro, trout, each election was a success, especially the salmon sorrentinos who conquered me. Inners, like meat and chicken empanadas, along with the guanaco carpaccio, were delicious and left us in love. The special touch of hot bread with carrot cream at the beginning and the liquor shot at the end were charming details of the house. However, what he really highlighted was not only exceptional food, but also impeccable service. The owner, Chico, radiated positive energy and closeness, while the waiter Ezequiel made every dinner fun and special. They even have a waitress that seems to be Clara Lago's double, but even more sympathetic! After this experience, I am anxious to return to the Chantel, first to enjoy another dinner at La Tapera and then to take a walk but not much haha. A must visit for those looking for a perfect combination of excellent food and exceptional attention!

As for the food, salmon sorrentinos to cry of rich, a juicy and tasty bife, desserts also good... As for the environment, warm, mountain atmosphere. Very good attention, good variety; rich food. It has vegetarian option. Go with time and early because most of the time is full.

The food is spectacular, the portions quite large. We're asking for bife and salmon. Both were spectacular. The only thing we didn't like was to feel that the young men were on us every time so that we could shake and leave the table to other people waiting outside.
