Checked out Mimosa House in El Dorado Hills last weekend for the first time with a couple of friends. We went at 12pm so the wait was very minimal. The inside has lots of seating and nice big open windows. I enjoy the EDH Town Center a lot it's fun to walk around and check out all the shops. Their menu is huge so I was a bit overwhelmed and took longer than normal to decide on what I wanted. I ordered 2 drinks They Honey Bee (for caffeine) and the Peep Mosa which was Easter themed with a bunny peep on the rim. For food, I ordered The Loco Moco with an over easy egg (no slime) which resulted in an overcooked egg, of course. The flavor of the gravy was a bit bland, but I was able to add some hot sauce for taste. My husband ordered one of their sandwiches that was on their specials menu (failing to remember the name) and he said it was just okay. I tried my friend's ****** Mary which was very good. Service was a bit slow at times and we had to track someone down to get napkins at one point. Overall, I wasn't very impressed with Mimosa House. Maybe it was the location. I'll have to check them out again another time!
We sat at the bar and were greeted pretty quickly. I ordered a mimosa flight and my husband ordered a ****** mary. I had the Second summer, tropical breeze and world watermelon mimosa flight. All of them were very tasty. We started with 2breakfast shots and they might have been the best we'd eve4 had. We ordered the Long Beach omelette with house potatoes, and the toasties. Toasties were s bit too crunchy but were yummy. The omelete was delish but the house potatoes were too soft. They didn't crisp up enough. Overall a great experience. We normally go to the closer location in Rancho Cordova but this place was a great experience. Cameron was the bartender and did a great job. The only miss was the potatoes being a bit too soft (not undercooked but could have used a few extra min I think).
Came here for brunch and it was pretty good! I got the carnitas skillet and a side of crispy bacon. The inside was a bit too dark but I liked the decor. The place was pretty busy and our server was great, but the host was a little cold as she showed us to our seats. The carnitas was surprisingly done well but the bottom of the skillet was a little too soggy for my liking. There are so many options on the menu and many mimosa options. This overall exceeded my expectations.
I went here with my mom and we both really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and mimosas. We ordered a Brut flight and Antionette to share. Love the flavors and a the options they have. The service was pretty slow from being seating f, to taking our order and then getting our food and drinks. We were there for well over an hour. My mom ordered the salmon Benedict and I ordered the chicken sausage scramble. My mom enjoyed her dish my and I enjoyed mine as well. What I didn't like was the up charge on adding vegetables. My server did not tell me it was going to be $1 per veggie and I added 3. I probably would have placed my order differently had I known. I deducted one star for the service and one star for the $3 veggie up charge.
