I ordered one of the Monday to Friday specials: two cheese enchiladas with rice and beans ($9.99), plus a shredded beef taco on the side. My cousin got the same, while my father chose the chili verde dinner. The cheese enchiladas arrived hot, topped with a perfectly made red sauce. The tortillas were cooked just right and filled with a generous amount of delicious melted cheese, all balanced in flavor! The beans were creamy and delightful, and the rice was well-cooked, moist, and well-seasoned. Now, about my taco—this is officially my favorite taco! It had been a long time since I'd had one this good, and I would even say it was perfect! The shell was fried just right—not burnt, too hard, or greasy. The shredded beef was juicy and well-seasoned, the lettuce was crisp and fresh, the tomatoes were ripe, and the cheese was perfectly portioned. As for my father's chili verde dinner, his first remark upon receiving his plate was, "Look, they actually gave me chili verde!" Usually, he's served only a third of the plate with chili verde, while the rest is filled with rice and beans. For my father to be genuinely happy with his meal is quite an accomplishment, as he is very picky. Our server, Martha, was friendly and sweet, always wearing a smile. I got a bit confused while ordering the combo plates, but she patiently guided me to ensure I got what I wanted and helped me take advantage of the special. The chef, Aracely, received my compliments before we left, as I wanted her to know how delicious her food was. I told her, "Honestly, I haven’t enjoyed a meal this delicious in a very long time! It was so good! Thank you!" I grew up with Mexican food, so for me to have such a perfect plate means it truly was perfect! I can’t wait to return soon with my family!
