Maremegmeg Beach - El Nido

Pepperoni pizza so masarap. And the iced coffee latte, too. Shady area so helpful for when waiting for the gorgeous sunset here. 100 pesos for one hour kayak.

The pizza here is not your typical light, fluffy, heavily risen Neapolitan style, but the crust is decent, flavorful and the tomato sauce is good, but stingy on the toppings. We ordered Pepperoni pizza and as you can see in my picture there's only a few pepperoni toppings (one pepperoni on each slice). Pork BBQ was really good. Beer is not really cold. The happy hour price doesn't make sense. If u order piña colada during happy hour you are supposed to pay 250 for two (coz it says buy 1 and get the same for free), but why does it become 400php (price trap)? Definitely not free if you buy another one. Should have said 2 drinks for 400php. Service not excellent. The staff are not very attentive. (3 stars) As far as locations go it's lovely to sit out on the terrace and watch the sea and life goes by. It has a nice breeze from the sea. You can also swim and drink by the beach.

Good happy hour drinks, pretty good food. Great place to watch the sunset and staff is busy, but helpful and friendly. Music was WAY too loud for sunset dining.

Nice spot to relax,good food,friendly staff. We ordered a seafood platter but they had no squid anymore,so they give more prawns. Delicious! Cleanest and nicest toilets we saw on the island. Crowded by sunset. Came back after five days but the same order wasn't as good as before. A pity. I told them it was not as good as before. The staff compensate it with icecream. Nice gesture.

A highlight of our time in El Nido was two great days spent parked in the comfortable seats of Maremegmeg bar, looking at the ocean and enjoying delicious food and drink. The drinks and food we ordered were perfect in every way, with excellent cocktails and delicious appetizers. The view is gorgeous and the beach itself has a relaxed vibe, with no trash in sight and no pushy hawkers. However the best part of Maremegmeg is the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make our day there amazing. They took care of our baby, gave us free food, and literally ran around to take our orders. Everyone is friendly and kind and loving. The restrooms were clean and modern, which is such a bonus for a beach bar. Wish we could stay here!
