Food was pretty good. Service could have been better, was end of the night and we seemed rushed.

Nice atmosphere and clearly a popular pick. The people seated by us mentioned that they drive from Pismo yearly for a birthday dinner. Extensive menu, many specials which were verbally explained but would have been better written out bc they were very lengthy explanations. We thought the service was good and the house Manhattan was lovely. In terms of food: Bruschetta needed vinegar. Both pastas were very good but large portions and we probably should have split one. Wasn't blown away by the half chicken secondi, chicken was moist and tasty but the rest of it read a bit like wedding banquet fare. All in all, a fine experience.As a note! There are two locations and if you are clicking through from their website you may end up making a reservation at the wrong location, which we did. To their credit, they handled it extremely well and seated us bc someone didn't show but I got the impression that the mistake happens frequently. The hostess did not blink an eye. Something to be aware of when reserving.

Our favorite Italian restaurant in the Paso Robles area. We were in Paso to pick up some wine. What a great little town. Always crowded at dinner time, so make a reservation or you can sit at the bar like we did.

I am NEVER one to post a negative review of a restaurant, but I have to say I was very disappointed in this restaurant. Our server Lalo was aloof and inattentive, although appeared to be overwhelmed. The food was blah… the pasta I ordered was fresh but way overcooked to the point I couldn’t even eat it because it was so limp. We had to refill our own wine glasses. And after Lalo asked how our meal was, I told him about the pasta where he did offer to send out another order, but I declined because my husband had already eaten his meal. Very disappointed ! Oh and this was at 5:30 pm…very busy, but thought we’d get better service given it was so early!

There was no love in the food. The pasta capellini was incredibly bland, lacking seasoning. Our table was constantly getting banged by staff walking by, the door was open for 10 minutes making us cold! Never eat here! We just left and are disappointed!
