They also charged me an additional $20 on top of the tip I authorized, so I had to open a dispute with my credit card company. Only redeeming factor was that the drinks were excellent.TLDR: go for the drinks, not the food. Watch your credit card statement afterwards.
One of my favorite spots to go in Paso. Great service, atmosphere, food and cocktails. The appetizer with mushrooms is amazing. Highly recommend.
I'm not sure how this place earned a Michelin Star. I had their namesake Rotisserie Chicken. The white meat was so dry I could hardly swallow it. I've had better rotisserie chickens from grocery stores. It came with cole slaw, which was good, for $30. The drinks and service were good.
I wish I could give this place no stars. Waited over an hour between starter and entree. The manager was purposefully avoiding our table to have a conversation. When we asked to get the drinks deducted he came and gave a bogus excuse. The menu is 2 days new. There are pictures of the same menu dating months ago. Definitely will not come back. That bald headed man is the biggest whimp I 've ever seen. Waited for me to leave to speak with my wife! But my wife is worst!!! Scumbag of the year. You know it 's bad when the table next to you arrives after you and leaves before you. I can only hope this man steps on a Lego every night.
So they are known for creating a few things very well. Our friend wanted the crowd chicken which she loved. I got the burger which was on...I expect a lot for an expensive burger. I would've liked more lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and most important a tasty sauce. Their drinks are great and of course they have a great wine list. Their roasted beet salad is amazing and the corn bread is equally yummy. I wanted to try their other entrees (Shepherd's pie) but it depends what night of the week you go so choose wisely.
