Contribuisci feedbackWe were looking forward to a nice steak to go with delicious Paso Robles wine. The appetizers and side dishes were fine not great. The baked potato was under cooked and not hot enough. The filet mignon was extremely tough, difficult to chew. My father had a NY strip and it was extremely tough as well. The service was friendly but inexperienced. Eat elsewhere in Paso!
We had a great time. Tables and nooks available and properly spaced. Our server was quite friendly and available. His name is Elijah and we appreciate how cordial and friendly and respectful he is. We love the no corkage fee if we bring a Paso wine. Overall clean and lovely for any group gatherings. Approachable prices.
My husband had to send both gin and tonics he ordered back because they tasted strange! The waitress even commented that they looked strange to her . We ordered the 4th of July special 1 rack of baby rack ribs to split, the waitress returned to tell us they had run out of baby back ribs and could only give us a half an order. When they arrived they were not hot and the bbq sauce was terrible. To top it off when we got the bill she had charged us for the whole rack! Ugh...
We really expected a bit more for a higher end steakhouse. It was a secondary dining choice as the places we wanted to go to are closed Sundays. The overall experience was “ok”. Food was ok although service was good. We expected more from the Steak Bites which were more like a salad with pieces of steak and toast. Chicken schnitzel was ok although it could have been pounded thinner. On the plus side corkage was waived because we brought in a local wine. We wanted a more upscale experience and this sounded like it would work but I think we'll opt to dine more casually next time if our top choices (Dellas and The Hatch) are not open.
Service was VERY VERY slow. It took at least an hour to get our food. They did not even check on us while we were waiting to bring us more water or anything. Never told us there would be a long wait. The restaurant was not even busy, there were only a few tables occupied. I have here once before and had a good experience.
