Stopped by this Filipino bakery to pick up some snacks for work. This is a pretty well known bakery with locations throughout the US. They have tons of options for sweets and also Filipino food if you are looking for more than just something sweet. Bought some Manon which is a sponge cake and some empanadas. Everything was delicious
Overall good experience I had the meat empanadas and they were very tasty I liked them a lot!I had the ube cake and flan and it was tasty but the cake was pretty dry. The pancit palabok was okay.
I just picked up a palabok family platter .... Not sure what happened to this branch but honestly, they did not put enough palabok sauce, just eggs and chicharon toppings. No taste and so bland. Unbelievable. Total ripped off. My favorite dish. Total let down. Won't go back to this location.
Stopped by this famous Filipino bake shop that has locations all over the Philippines and some locations throughout the US. First time to visit this location in Oxnard and found the shop to be bright, clean and well-maintained. They offered a good variety of the flavored sponge cakes called mamon. We picked up a variety pack of six so we could try the different flavors. All were moist and not too sweet. We always love the chicken empanada and ordered a half dozen, which came with one free. Their empanadas are all meat and not much else. Flavorful with a light flaky crust. Finally, we bought a mango Supreme cake. Yum! There were several layers of cake alternate with a delicious mango flavored creme and topped with a generous portion of glazed mangos. Total hit with our guests!Appreciated the courteous service and will return for sure next time we need something for a special occasion.
