I ordered the Vegan banh MI sandwich and it was delicious! The tofu is marinated perfectly and the vegetables are pickled and flavored the exact right amount. Oh and the bread! Oh the bread is so good! I believe the bread is fresh baked on site. It was just the perfect sandwich for me. Price could have been lower but it's Los Angeles so it is what it is. Staff was very nice to me from ordering to pick up. Cute place but very popular and gets busy fast. I looked at what other people were eating and the salads looked amazing too! May have to try that another time! Parking: Arrive early in the day parking gets full fast.

I've been to Mendo several times since it opened. Just went for lunch and got the turkey avo salsa Verde. It has the perfect spice level and is so fresh. However I rarely write reviews but wanted to highlight Cameron S. who took our order and served us. He was so kind and really gave us a happy positive energy which made our lunch even better. I'll be back!

I just happened to be in the area and have always heard good things about Mendo sandwiches. I paid 17 dollars for the smallest most basic sandwich ever. The staff was nice and professional the food 5/10.
