Big Apple Bagels - Elgin

I have been coming here for about a hundred years. I love it! Sadly, recently I moved back to the area the older lady with the short brown hair glasses is such a crabby pants every single time I have come in recently. She has made coming here a dread. Thankfully the food is always delicious I really hope after a few years when I return again, she is gone. Do better, lady! PS the owner is amazing! Normally 5 stars but took one off for having to deal with that lady.

The Wife and I really like this place and the food they make. Reasonable prices, good atmosphere. We come in at least once a quarter. Sometimes more often than that.

It's a nice little spot for bagels and coffee. Good bagels! I try to get mine from there as often as possible as they are the best around.

Customer service is horrible but the bagels are excellent and the only reason I keep going back. I come here once a month and the older lady Peggy has an attitude and is rude everytime I come in.

Thank you for the awesome service and the food. We will be keep coming here.
