Country Donuts - Elgin

The donuts at this restaurant are incredible! There are so many choices, but my favorite is the Black Raspberry 'Bismark'. The apple cider and bagels are also excellent. The only reason I didn't give them a 5-star review is because their coffee is just good, not excellent like Dunkin' or Starbucks.

Ive been here 4 times total and every single time they are out of what I want or right on the verge of being out, with no plans of making more that day... Called ahead and asked if they had apple cider donuts, they said yes, I get here and they are completely out with no plans of making more that day. Youd think if they have a giant sign outside advertising that they have apple cider and pumpkin donuts, theyd make plenty and have enough on hand. Dont go out of your way to come here. Good donuts and pastries but poor management and poor inventory.

Country Donuts is a must-visit if you're in the area! Delicious donuts and coffee, plus they are open 24/7 in case you want a late night snack. Whenever I have friends visiting from out-of-town, I get them some Country Donuts as a little welcome gift : Service is quick and friendly, too!
