Culinary Fox Cafe Catering - Elgin

This is a charming local diner that also offers catering services in Elgin. A couple of years ago, I decided to give them a try based on the positive reviews I had read about their fried fish, and I was not disappointed! Last week, I ordered takeout for lunch for my wife and me. We had the BLT, the Cuban sandwich, and a Caesar salad. Everything was well-prepared and came with all the fresh toppings. I highly recommend checking them out and supporting this local restaurant!

I can't believe I waited so long to visit this place! It's family-owned, and right upon entering, you feel a warm welcome along with the wonderful aromas of cooking. I had the fish fry dinner, and it was absolutely delicious! I also tried the soup of the day, which was fantastic—hats off to the chef! I even picked up some frozen meals to take home. I can't wait to come back and try more!

I finally had a chance to visit this restaurant, and I was impressed! The haddock was fantastic, and the shrimp was huge and tasty. The potatoes were also delightful. I wanted to try the ribs, but unfortunately, they sold out by 11 a.m. on Friday! It seems they only offer them once a month, so I'll have to come back next month to give them a shot—can't wait!

The service was fast. Gyros are good. I have everything about reward programs today and I could not use it yet. Maybe it's my phone? Who really knows. Didn't want to take away a star for their assessment because their food and service was great!
