Contribuisci feedbackI swear I had written a review for this shop when I first went here but for whatever reason it was removed or disappeared. Mozzafiato is a family owned, local gelato and coffee shop that serves delicious tasting gelato, hot and cold beverages, and pastries. They make their gelato in-house and offer good variety of flavors. Their pistachio, espresso, whiskey caramel, and sea salt caramel flavors are my favorites. You can have your gelato scoops in a bubble waffle as well. That's a wonderful concoction. They have good selection of hot drinks like coffee, latte, tea. They also serve cookies, cannoli, croissants, quiche, etc.Their prices are reasonable and service is good. The decor and setup are nice and the sitting area is comfy. The shop has a nice atmosphere and is inviting. Check out Mozzafiato if you haven't before. It's definitely worth a visit or two.
Delishious desserts. All fresh and hand made. Amazing italian chocolate. Also reasonably priced.
Cute spot for gelato, coffee and pastries. Employees friendly and offered suggestions.
At this point, I don 't feed into the hype and praise expressed in nearly every review I came across. Perhaps I went on an off-day or something? Tried 3 different flavors of gelato: stracciatella chocolate chip, PB cookie and amaretto sour cherry. Arametto cherry was my favorite but was by no means blown away. Paired the arametto cherry and stracciatella flavors with a bubble waffle and added whipped cream. Waffle was average and a tad dry, but at least the whip tasted fresh and delicious. You know there 's an issue when the whip tastes better than the gelato itself! Gelato textures were rather grainy, not as rich and velvety smooth as I had craved. I don 't think their gelato was very fresh upon my visit. There was only 1 person running the entire counter and kitchen upon my arrival, which I found quite concerning. For the record, she was very welcoming and warm towards me which I appreciated. I could tell her heart was certainly in the right place. The coffees I had (first a butterscotch caramel latte, followed by an espresso macchiato) were fine, but nothing knock-your-socks-off. The interior felt rather cramped, finding difficult to sit comfortably and enjoy my gelato and coffee; however, I understand that Mozzafiato occupies a rather small space. The vintage car theme and decorations were pretty cool and unique though. Overall, I really, really, really wanted to adore this place. Following my initial visit, however, I am simply not convinced that Mozzafiato has the best gelato around . Then again, maybe I went on an off-day. I would absolutely be willing to give Mozzafiato another try, as I believe this cafe truly does have potential. 1 freebie star, 1 star for hospitality and 1 star for aesthetics (in regards to gelato presentation and store interior).
Had the Pumpkin spice cinnamon roll (huge) and the Bubble waffle wrapped Gelato (whiskey carmel and butter pecan). Lots of flavor here! Served on real plates by very friendly staff. Good Italian coffee as well.
