Porter's Pub - Elgin

We just recently had our wedding at Bowes Creek Country Club (porters pub). It was absolutely incredible!!! Denise and her staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! Up until the wedding Denise was in constant contact with us to make sure every little detail was covered. The day of the wedding couldn't have gone more perfect! They had all the decorations set up for us including the arch we brought and laid rose pedals all the way down the isle! It was a very hot day and the entire staff made sure all of our guests were well hydrated and taken care of! After the ceremony is where we experienced some of the best customer service imaginable! Denise took it upon herself to grab a golf cart and take us for a little ride out on the golf course to catch our breath for a minute it is something Carrie and I will never forget!! The rest of the night went just as great!! The food was excellent and my wife and I are both pretty picky so there's a lot to be said for that! Overall it was an amazing day and we couldn't have done it without Denise and her staff! I would highly recommend having your wedding here! Beautiful setting, excellent food, and exceptional staff!

Recently found Porter's Pub and it's our new favorite local place to have dinner and drinks with friends. Jodi is an amazing bartender and always give the best service. The manager Denise is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend making the trip to Porter's!!

Great place! Food was good, service was great. The pot roast was beyond delicious and the steaks were done perfectly! The restaurant and bar were full and the Manager Denise still took time to come over to welcome us. Can't wait for nicer weather to sit on the beautiful patio over looking the golf course. We'll be back!

We were anxious to try Porters Pub when we saw a sign for it... now we can't wait to return! The food was really good and the service was really good! It's a hidden gem!

Love Italian night. This is a wonderful place for dinner or an important event. The food is prepared well.The staff is friendly and eager to see that you have a great evening.
