Grouper's Waterfront - Eliazabeth City

Well I wanted to love this place because of the beautiful location. I ordered steamed shrimp and bruschetta. My friend ordered fried shrimp, fries and a salad. My friends salad was good and shrimp fine but fries not hot. Our server was attentive and did stay on top of the refills. My steamed shrimp were already peeled. This is the first time in this area I have had steamed shrimp that were already peeled. They were fine by had very heavy old bay. I love old bay but this was intense because the peeling was gone. The worst part of the meal was the bruschetta. I should have set it back but hindsight is 20/20. It was thin bread with melted cheese and cold, lightly seasoned chopped tomatoes. It didn't go well together. I've had bruschetta with cheese mixed in but never melted cheese and cold tomatoes. I am sad to write this honestly. It was disappointing for 10.99. I might give this place another chance just because the location is awesome. I'll update if anything changes.

Feel bad because the waitress kept coming at the worst time in our conversation..found out nothing is frozen though! Food is absolutely delicious and staff is really friendly. Zero complaints!

Ate there for lunch today , and won’t be back. The food was ok, small portions for the price, and the service wasn’t much better. Won’t be back
