I can't wait to go back at night to try out the outdoor space and margarita specials. Paper plates and cups are definitely an odd choice, but everything else makes up for it. Overall, a great local hangout.
A group of us came here for Sunday brunch. The menu is simple, and the prices are standard for the area. There is a nice outdoor space and about equal number of seats indoors. This is truly a local spot, where everyone knows the chef and runs into people they know here. They 've recently revamped the space to include a bar, clearly trying to attract a later night crowd. They advertise karaoke nights, too.
First time my husband and I ate here for breakfast the food was awesome. So we told my son and his wife and made plans to go all together today. I mentioned to them that the waiter told us everything was homemade, made from scratch. . Not many places have homemade bread for toast so we looked forward to it besides what we had planned ahead of time to eat. Today my back problems were worse so I told them all to still go and to bring me my breakfast. Looking forward to hearing there thoughts I was surprised, everyone said it was disappointing, no good. Mentioned the disappointment of not having the corn beef hash ready for start of breakfast and that the food was not great at all, nothing special. My husband mentioned that last time he loved the homefries this time he hated them. So I decided to see for myself and I was disappointed also. The homefries had no flavor and the onions were hard in them. The omelette was nothing special with little flavor and the toast was not homemade bread! Will we go back, no, not after our first disappointment and also being given the wrong info to probably get us to go a 2nd time.
Stopped for breakfast..WAAY too expensive for what you get. B-fast for 3 was over $45! $11 for a hash omlette? Yikes! Omlette was just OK...eggs were a bit odd, not convinced they were real eggs (EggBeaters maybe? . Plastic silverware, plastic juice cups and styrofoam plates were quite off-putting. Maybe that's why the prices are so high?
