I couldn’t read it at first, and it looks more like Pott’Spat than Spot, which is an even more terrible name for a restaurant. The childish lettering, the bad rhyme. Agh. But please try to get by that, as I did. For once I did, as my friends R F encouraged us, the food was not just surprisingly good, but really very good.
This little coffee shop is using Danes Coffee Beans. <br/ Danes Specialty Coffee has taken out the title of Champion Australian Roaster for the first time in the 2018 Australian International Coffee Awards AICA .<br/ My Piccolo was awesome! <br/ That’s for a start.<br/ Had a very late breaky, Pancakes 3 stacks served with stone fruit compote and salted ricotta, and praline.<br/ Pancakes was beautiful too.<br/ <br/ <br/
Smart place with cosy yet functional interior that has mellow music, good WiFi and is good for working. Coffee is smooth but slightly weak so order a strong if your like it that way. I’ve had the Big Vege Breakfast which came out looking great and is a very generous and filling portion even after the gym. Wide range of ingredients on the plate that all were fresh and felt very healthy, yet for some reason taste was slightly on the dull side not much seasoning. I found myself putting copious amounts of salt and pepper all over the plate. Also the falafel was dry, and I wished this was more Labneh to balance it out. <br/ <br/ On other occasions I had the daily specials such Salmon dish with puréed cauliflower as a substitute for potato mash and a lamb sumac salad. Both were quite good! <br/ <br/ I’ve also had the Himalayan chicken burger which was delicious, spicy and fresh, with a brioche bun that melts in your mouth. Only downside was the fries were over cooked and way too crispy. <br/ <br/ Service is pretty relaxed and chill. They don’t bother you much if you are working. You may need to go inside or up to the counter to order as they don’t come around very often.
Got there by chance (I was actually looking for another cafe) and found a parking spot next to this place and decided to try it out.The menu caught mu eye as is not your typical smashed avo and muesli type stuff but there is more thought put into the menu and pretty muvh everythig sounds appealing. Decided to go with boccocini baked eggs (comes with a side of crispy potatoes) and ot was really worth it. Staff were friendly, the eggs were very tasty and the potatoes were super crunchy and delicious! Will be back before I finish my job in the area in around a month's time.
Really nice mother 's day breakfast. Neither myself or my wife really like the traditional 'half a side of bacon, two fried eggs, two toasted bits of Tip Top ' breakfasts and we 're always looking out for something a bit different. My big breakfast 's slice of roast pumpkin with pine nuts and my wife 's lamb on turkish with poached eggs were great! Really nice atmosphere too, will be back.
