Destino Lounge - Elizabeth

I had previously visited Destino and experienced excellent service, but this time it was quite disappointing. The waiter appeared confused throughout the evening, and we had to request our orders multiple times. While the service issues could be overlooked, the unauthorized charge is unacceptable. I paid my bill online using the QR code, and later found an extra $100 charged to my account that I did not approve. Because of this, I won't be returning.

Destino is making the most out of its space. The decor and ambiance are very classy with a throwback sort of elegance theme. Service was above and beyond- everyone looks sharp and is attentive. The food is phenomenal- we tried skirt steak, chorizo, mini papa rellena, even the tostones were better than any we’ve had. Cocktails were flavorful and not over sweet. Excellent date night choice. Highly recommended.

This place is perfect for a date. It’s lacking a vibe though. I would recommend adding a DJ, hookah, or happy hour. It’s a cute spot, but I wanted more.

This was my second visit, and everything was just as wonderful as before. This time, we truly enjoyed the food, which was excellent! The music did get really loud at one point, but after speaking with the manager, he turned it down a bit. The only other issue I had was with the gin and tonics; I didn't realize they were using Bombay gin, which made the bill a bit higher than expected... I should have asked beforehand. Overall, it's a fantastic place—definitely worth a visit! You'll love it!

Overall, the experience was pleasant, but the management should reconsider the portion sizes relative to the prices. The flavors were lacking as well! While I understand the need to be profitable, the small servings of bland food were disappointing. This is something that could use improvement. The music was enjoyable, but it was so loud that we had to shout to hear one another. On the positive side, the managers and waitstaff were very friendly and attentive!
