I understand they’ve had to make adjustments due to rising food and supply costs, but it’s been disappointing. They removed my favorite dish from the menu, which was a big letdown. The coffee, once my favorite around, has tasted different during our last few visits. The staff remains excellent and accommodating, but the consistency and quality of the food just aren't the same. One visit might be fantastic, while the next can be quite disappointing. If you’re visiting for the first time, I’m sure you’ll have a great experience, but for regulars like us, it’s a different story. I truly wish them the best!
I have been eating breakfast at whisk at least once a week for the last year. The menu was amazing, and although the prices were a little high, the quality of the food was more than worth it. Over the past few months the quality has declined GREATLY. I was told that the restaurant has changed owners and I’m afraid they are ruining everything. Today I got a takeout order and what I found was slices of unripe avocado(some pieces with the hard skin still on it), undercooked home fries, and my gf’s meal had uncooked spinach and she bit down on egg shells. This isn’t the first offense. I tried to call to speak with someone about it and have been getting a busy signal for over 30 minutes. I will not be eating at whisk as I have given them plenty of chances and have only been disappointed. You should change the name of this business because it is not the same restaurant it was 3 months ago.
Visited on a Saturday around 9am. We were promptly seated but took about 10-15 minutes for anyone to come by and acknowledge us. The waitress was nice and apologized for the wait. Not enough wait staff. Food was flavorful, but mine was lukewarm, but my wife's vegan food was hot. Large portion sizes. It was very loud inside.Vegetarian options: Two vegan options, and a few more vegetarian options.Parking: Lots of parking in the lot.
Very cute place, tucked right next to Masonic Village. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, especially with the renovations they've done recently. The drinks are a little pricey, but very tasty and very unique for the area. Their menu has a nice variety, from simple and quick to more elaborate offerings. Their fancy avocado toast with crumbled bacon, goat cheese, roasted tomatoes and balsamic reduction is my go-to. Well worth the visit, especially if the weather is nice enough to sit outside!
I've noticed a distinct decrease in overall quality for several months now. Dirty glasses and silverware are not infrequent. I used to love going to Whisk, but probably not for a while if at all. This morning I found a hair under my omelet after I had eaten almost half of it.They didn't charge me for my breakfast but they still charged for my son's.For me, hair in my food is a deal breaker. Period. There should have been no charge at all. My breakfast was ruined and so was my son's.It's unfortunate that businesses don't know how to treat customers anymore.HAIR IN THE FOOD IS A MISTAKE YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE. EVER!!! How do you not know that???
