Steak 'n Shake - Elk Grove Village

This is a great location, clean, quick service and all their food is neat and presentable and of course very tasty.

Wow! Since the Randhurst location closed, it 's been years since we 've had Steak 'n Shake. My mother in law wanted to go so we took her to the Elk Grove location. We were super impressed! The restaurant was sparkling clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the kitchen was well organized and efficient and the food EXCEEDED our expectations! Two changes are that you order by kiosk, which takes cash or charge and a convenient self service soft drink station. We actually LIKED these two changes. I would highly recommend this Steak 'n Shake location.

Milk shake was only 75% full. Chicken was very greasy. Fries were hot.

The manager doesn’t speak well enough English to be a manager I had to repeat myself 20 times I waited even longer for my food

It's a steak and shake. Overall, quality isn't what it used to be.
