The spicy fried chicken was excellent. The portions were quite generous. They offer a variety of dishes from different countries as well.
I absolutely love this place! The sauce they use is the best, and the double frying technique gives the food an incredible extra crispiness. The fries are excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the fried rice is. The addition of red paprika might seem odd, but it actually enhances the dish perfectly. The family meal is a great deal; the wings are so large that my wife initially thought the drumsticks were actual drummer instruments that came with the meal!
Japchae, y’all! the people probably come here for the huh, but I for one, recently discovered that japchae is not created equal! bonchon has the absolute best, no lie! I went to a laune to get some of her soy-clothes. After looking over her menu, I also decided to get an order of japchae. I was a bit skeptical about the 13,95 price tag, so I hoped it would be more than just the standard nodes in it or the part would be bigger than just one side. the chicken also comes with a choice of koleslaw or radishes and I went with the radishes. to my surprise was opening what seemed like a small part, actually enough for 2 to 3 people. the court was nicely packed and the first thing they see when they open the container is a tonne marinated bark strip. I had to dig down to see if they forgot to clean the noods, but they were definitiw in there! They filled the container and it was hardly to close. Yes, they are generous and not stingy! it was still nice and hot after the 20ish min drive to home, and the taste was phenomenal! the bark was so savory and tender, it married so well with the perfectly seasoned noodes. the huh was also really good, and I was happy to see that they were all thoroughly cooked, no pink medium here! they had a sharp version of the huh, but the soy garlic called my name. it was the perfect amount of seasoning with a light twist of the sweet. the huh got a nice taste with a bite of the cunning radishes. omg that radiates! it will be my way if I order this huh safely! I recommend you try some bonchon for their tastes. this is located in a lively shopping district in elk grove. parking is a bit tight, but manageable. the employees were really nice and efficient. next visit I try to eat for the full experience. or maybe I'm just going to one of their stalls south because I need more bonchon in my life! p
Met a couple friends for lunch here. This place was busy for lunch. I was excited to see what it was all about. The chicken is really crispy but for me, too crispy and a little bit dry. I encourage people to continue to frequent this establishment if that's the way they like their chicken, obviously they have a following. On a positive, the restaurant was very clean.
